Welcome to the Periodic Table of Breathwork

The Periodic Table of Breathwork was born out of a simple frustration - too many breathing exercises, too little clarity about what they actually do. Mike Mayer from Take a Deep Breath spent years mapping every major technique into one framework: RESET.

R - Release Breath mechanics, diaphragm strength, rib cage mobility. Where good breathing begins.
E - Energise Up-regulate your nervous system. Breath of Fire, Bellows Breath.
S - Soothe Down-regulate and calm. Coherence breathing, humming, left nostril.
E - Embodiment Get out of your head. Breath awareness, body scan, meditation.
T - Tolerate CO2 tolerance and slow breathing. Build resilience breath by breath.
T - Transformational Advanced facilitated practices. Holotropic breathwork and beyond.
